Beach Days are fun, but not if you're picking a wedgie every time you turn around. You should be playing, not trying not to move for fear your swim suit will ride up! For those of you with curves like myself, try finding bottoms that have a string tie. The tie allows for full coverage while still fitting in the waist.
For years I've hated myself in any swim suit because of my curves. Peewee Herman once said, "you know Dottie, everyone I know has a big but - what's your big but?". My big but WAS my big butt! Someone in grade school told me that a boy I had a crush on at the time didn't like me back because I had a big butt. And after that moment, I carried that complex about myself. Only now am I realizing the importance of being kind to yourself. It's what enables you to be comfortable and confident in your own skin. So whatever your big but is, quit giving yourself such a hard time! You'll never be younger than you are today; what are you waiting for? Don't let fear, voices in your head, or voices from your past limit you! Get out and have some adventures this weekend! xoxo!
